Delete your CogMyra account
You can delete your account and everything in it at any time. When you delete it in the app or on the website, it happens right away and cannot be undone. If photos and files you added cannot be removed from storage at that moment, we keep trying until they are gone.
In the CogMyra app
- Open the Me tab.
- Tap Privacy and your data, then Delete account.
- Type DELETE and confirm.
On the website
- Sign in at cogmyra.com.
- Open your account page.
- Choose Delete account, type DELETE, and confirm.
By email, if you no longer have the app or cannot sign in
- Email hello@cogmyra.com from the address you use with CogMyra.
- Use the subject “Delete my account”.
- We confirm it is you, delete the account, and reply when it is done, within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and the email address you sign in with
- Your name and age group
- Every chat with the Guide, including photos and files you added
- Your ratings and reports of replies
- Your choices about AI processing and research
- Your class memberships
- Your Sign in with Apple connection, which we also cancel with Apple
What we keep, and for how long
- Counts of how much the Guide was used, with nothing that identifies you, so we can run and pay for the service.
- Technical logs, kept for about 12 months for security, then deleted.
- If you bought the Praxis program: a minimal purchase record (date, refund status) for up to three years for tax and accounting, as our privacy policy explains.
- Anthropic, which writes the Guide’s replies, keeps what was sent to it for a limited time for abuse monitoring, under its own policy, and does not use it to train AI models.
